Over the past year, we here at Church Facilities Conference & Expo (CFX) have been happy to provide educational resources to each of you who serve your churches in the areas of Leadership & Management, Facilities & Operations, and Production Technology. Through our podcasts, webinars, case studies and articles, and also through our virtual conference, we’ve worked hard to bring top thought leaders and industry experts directly to your computer, giving you the practical resources needed so you can grow your teams and ministries.
We’ve covered topics like how to safely reopen your doors during and after COVID, understanding the importance of excellence in choosing your AVL equipment, and how to stay mentally healthy in the mids of chaos. We discussed the future of technology to enhance the worship experience, how wayfinding and digital signage can bring a sense of peace and safety to newcomers, and how to better navigate your audio during live streaming.
Our CFX Virtual Conference was filled with sessions and product demos that brought amazing educational content. We heard from Ben Stapley on how to better use video messaging in any size church. Julie Bullock from Generis told us how to encourage attendee giving during the COVID season. We learned the importance of maintaining spiritual health from Carlos Whittaker. Ross Video explained how their Dashboard automation control platform can help techs provide better and easier video output. DPA Microphones helped us understand how to find the right microphone for the right setting. And RATstands shared how their innovative creation of the BioScreen provides safe social distancing barriers without blocking the view.
Now we’re ramping up to release our 2021 conference program beginning in April. We’re building a fantastic list of speakers and exhibitors who will share information you’re asking to learn.
We have sessions focusing on how to plan for and create a new church build or remodel successfully. You’ll have opportunities to work with church branding leaders who will analyze your church’s website for maximum outreach. We’ll have speakers discussing safety and security plans, live streaming best practices, and leadership and communication skills to help anyone who serves on staff or as a volunteer at your church.
Along with that, we’ll have hands-on training opportunities and professional development workshops to increase your skills. The expo floor will provide you with one-on-one interactions with exhibitors, allowing you to look at their products and services and see how they might increase your productivity and stewardship. And since community is vital, you’ll also be able to attend networking opportunities with other attendees, speakers and exhibitors to discuss the topics that are most prevalent in churches today.
We’re so excited to offer you all of these resources to make life easier for you in your ministries! It has been a blessing to have served you through our podcasts, articles, webinars, case studies and virtual conference over the past year, and we hope and pray that 2021 continues to bless you through these resources and through our inaugural conference & expo.
See you in Dallas this September!
