How to Build a Runway: Preparing Your Team for Organizational Change
The most important part of plane travel is not the plane, the crew or even the engine. It is the length of the runway, for if the runway is not long enough the plane will not generate enough energy to fly.
Many leaders have the right vision, the right plan and the right way to explain where they want to take their teams. Maybe you think you’re one of those leaders. But have you built a long enough runway? Have you explained to your team where you’re going, when change is coming, and how you’ll get there? This session will equip leaders with how to plan and prepare for organizational change.
Objectives will be, but are not limited to:
- tips on how to formulate a vision for your team
- creating the ‘end game’ to answer where you are going
- how to use conflict to strengthen your team
- getting your teammates to articulate the mission for you
- creating a vision board where you have a change plan for seasons to come
