Tom StanzianoLighting Volunteer at Harborside Church
Tom is currently volunteering with the lighting at his home church in Harborside, FL, and has enjoyed it tremendously. With 20 years of experience in the lighting industry, Tom has worked with Celebrity and Disney Cruises. He moved to Nashville working as a lighting designer for Opryland USA Theme Park and Technical Director at The Renaissance Center. In 2001, Tom moved to Houston, TX to be part of Lakewood Church and Joel Osteen Ministries. Tom was able to be a part of the lighting design team with veteran Bill Klages and served as lighting director for over 8 years. In 2003, Tom created Lumen-Essence, where he was able to work with churches all over the country by educating them on the design process.
His current appointment with Vari-lite/Strand Lighting allows him to impact the worship market by demonstrating and speaking on the proper use of lighting techniques needed in today’s church.
Speaking engagements include various trade shows including Ministry of Technology 2010, LDI 2009-2011, WFX 2009-2011, TRG’s Techxplosion 2009-2011, NAB 2011, PRG UK at London’s Royal Opera House 2009, and Israel Houghton’s Deeper Level Conference 2008-2010, Southern Baptist Convention’s Worship Expo 2001, and FATE 2015-2019.
