Diversified VP of Worship Environments, Tim Corder, shares his insights in cinematic storytelling in Worship. In an age of non-stop advertising imagery with saturated colors, quick-paced video edits and constant hyper-closeup shots verging on the edge of tacky, there is a lot to be said for the narrative strength of a more peaceful and more balanced cinematic look and feel in Worship A/V. With advances in technology allowing for a full 4K resolution in the new rec.2020 color spec, Diversified recently specified Barco XDM projectors for a Florida Ministry to deliver life-like and honest colors in a projection setup that will reduce eye fatigue and that interacts more naturally with the Ministry’s Worship services without creating screen distraction.
In this session Tim explains his technology choices and the recent technical developments in projection and camera technology to inspire decision makers and A/V tech crew alike when choosing their next image technology solutions.
